According to the American Cancer Society, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death. North Carolina ranks 9th in the nation for estimated lung cancer deaths in 2020. Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer, and home radon exposure is the second leading cause.
We cordially invite you to our online event to learn ways to keep your lungs healthy by: 1) Quitting smoking, as well as using vaping and tobacco products, and 2) Testing your home for radon.
