The NIH-funded Quantitative Team Science (QuanTS) Guided Mentorship Program, developed by the University of Kentucky and Duke University, is a six-month, small-group training program designed to help early-career quantitative scientists strengthen the collaborative skills needed to thrive on interdisciplinary biomedical research teams.

Through synchronous sessions, experiential activities, and focused mentorship, participants build practical skills in communication, team dynamics, project management, and other competencies essential for effective research collaboration.

The program is intended for early-career quantitative scientists (biostatisticians, informaticians, data scientists, etc.) who are actively involved in collaborative biomedical research. There is no cost to participate in the program. To learn more about the program and curriculum, click here.

Selected participants will be assigned to one of the following groups:

Group 1: Every other Tuesday, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Eastern, January 19, 2027 – June 8, 2027
Group 2: Every other Wednesday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Eastern, January 20, 2027 – June 9, 2027
Group 3: Every other Thursday, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Eastern, January 21, 2027 – June 10, 2027
Group 4: Every other Thursday, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Eastern, January 21, 2027 – June 10, 2027

Applicants selected for the program must be able to attend all scheduled sessions for their assigned group.

The QuanTS Guided Mentorship Program includes 11 virtual, one-hour sessions held every other week.
